Injectable research peptides are typically reconstituted with bacteriostatic water and administered via subcutaneous injection (under the skin). Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide vials should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture, until reconstituted. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, peptides should be refrigerated (2–8°C) and used within 28–30 days. Always follow the storage instructions on the individual product page.

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which prevents bacterial growth. It is the standard diluent for reconstituting injectable peptides. Using regular water or saline is not recommended, as bacteriostatic water extends the usable life of the reconstituted peptide. Our Ready-to-Use Kit includes bacteriostatic water.
